Welcome to the Valdez Nordic Ski Club Website
The VNSC is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of cross country skiing. We encourage skiers of all types to join us in promoting skiing in the Valdez area including Thompson Pass.
Valdez is known as the snow capital of Alaska. Our ski season can begin as early as October and last until May or later on the Pass. Throughout the ski season, the VNSC organizes competitive and recreational activities for skiers, including clinics, races, and tracksetting.
